Task Notes
Select the media that you will be using to install the
System Platform software. You can install System
Platform either from a DVD drive or from a USB flash
drive. Perform the following tasks based on your
selection:
• If you are installing System Platform from a DVD,
burn the ISO images to separate DVDs.
• If you are installing System Platform from a USB
flash drive, do the following:
- Set up the USB flash drive(s)

- Save the ISO image(s) to the USB flash drive(s)
If you are installing System Platform through a laptop,
do the following:
• Ensure that a telnet and Secure Shell application is
installed on the laptop. Avaya supports open source
ssh/telnet client application PuTTy.
• Set up the laptop
