1. Open your Internet browser.
2. Click Tools > Internet Options.
3. Click the Connections tab.
4. Click LAN Settings, then click Advanced.
5. Deselect the Use a proxy server for your LAN option. Select the option when you
are done to enable the proxy server.
6. Click OK to close each dialog box.
Installing System Platform software
Starting the installation
1. Turn on the server.
2. Perform one of the following tasks:
• Insert the System Platform DVD into the DVD-ROM drive.
• Connect the System Platform USB flash drive to the USB port.
If USB flash drive is selected for installing System Platform, the boot up sequence
must be changed for the server to boot from the USB flash drive. Therefore, monitor
and keyboard are required. The server boots up from the System Platform DVD or
USB flash drive and displays the Avaya screen. Wait till the system disables the
installation through the server console and enables installation through the services
port. At this stage the system displays the Waiting for telnet connection screen, so
that you can connect to the server through telnet.
