Chapter 8: Configuring the SAL Gateway
Registering system and configuring SAL gateway
You must enable the SAL Gateway on System Platform for Avaya/Partner services delivery of
alarming and remote support. Register the system to obtain the information for entering through
SAL administrative interface. Registering System Platform and the associated solution
template ensures that Avaya has a record of the system and it is ready for remote support
delivery in the event it is required.

Important:
Business Partners and/or their customers must ensure that SAL is configured
and registered properly to receive Avaya support. Avaya support will be delayed
or not possible if SAL is not properly implemented.
