Camera Enhancements
This release contains several enhancements for the camera, applicable also for third-party apps.
AI - Camera Auto-Framing
In this release, in addition to the possibility to track the active speaker in front of the device with
the embedded camera, it is also possible to activate the automatic framing not only for the CU360
app (already available since 11.3), but also for any Third-Party App and when in USB Bar mode,
using Artificial Intelligence-based algorithms for face recognition.
The automatic framing recognizes the people sitting in front of the device by their faces and finds
the best framing to include all of them.

Important – BETA BUILD
• Do not activate auto-framing when using an additional monitor. The video could
freeze or the device could hang.
AI - Camera Virtual Background
In this release, it is possible activate a virtual background for the currently selected camera, or blur
the camera real background, using Artificial Intelligence-based algorithms for body recognition.
The algorithm recognizes people sitting in front of the device and blurs the background of the
image, or replace it with a customizable picture. It can be combined with camera speaker-tracking
or group framing functionalities.
The virtual background for Third-Party Apps or while in USB Bar Mode can be activate with the
Layouts button.
To cycle between the available backgrounds, press the layout key on the remote-
control.

When the CU360 app is used, it is possible to activate the same functionality using the menu
[GUI] CONTROL CAMERA > OK > VIRTUAL BACKGROUND
