Join Spaces Room - How to Invite a CU360 Endpoint as a Guest
The CU360 endpoint can be invited in any Spaces meeting easily as a guest without logging with
an account from the CU360 itself.
As a prerequisite to invite a CU360 endpoint in a Spaces Meeting as a guest from your mobile
phone or PC, you need to create your Spaces Account.
You can login to your personal Spaces Account on your mobile phone or tablet, by using the
Avaya Spaces Mobile app or on your PC/Mac using a web browser.
In addition, you can walk in any room configured with an Avaya CU360 or an Avaya XT Series as
a Spaces Room device, and easily invite that CU360 in a Spaces Meeting.
Check for the “Join Spaces Room” button in your browser or your mobile Spaces App, as below,
to start inviting a CU360 in your meeting.

Important
• Please note: If the space you want to access with a Room endpoint has been
limited to members only, you can join only if invited by an authorized member
(through pairing code or QR code). You could experience call declined results
when joining directly through calendar invitations or other ways.
• Please note: If the space you want to access with a Room endpoint is password
protected for any guest, you can join without inserting a PIN if invited by an
authorized member (through pairing code or QR code). You will be prompted to
insert a numeric password through the device UX or web interface if you are
joining directly through calendar invitations or other ways and the url of the
invitation does not embed the password in the link.
Choose How to Join Spaces Meetings
A CU60 device can be configured to launch by default the Spaces App (with personal login), or to
use the default CU360 App to join Spaces meetings as a Room.
Configuring your CU360 as a Spaces Room device assure that people in the room have no
access to personal Spaces information.
To change the preference, go to the CU360 App> Configure>Quick Setup and launch the Wizard.

Important
• If your CU360 App is configured in restricted mode, you cannot choose the Avaya Spaces
app for personal experience.
Quick Setup Wizard: Use CU360 as Spaces Room Device
If you plan to use your CU360 device mostly to join Spaces Meeting as a shared Room device,
and you want an easy way to join a meeting, you can configure the CU360 as a Room device for
Spaces.
