Flange shape
The flanges used should be such that the area of contact with the gasket is maximized,
as shown in Figure 2-10.

~Note • Before installing the detector be sure to flush out any foreign matter
that may be present inside the detector. Residual foreign matter could
cause output fluctuations.
• Do not touch the electrodes by your hand or waste cloth with oil. It
could cause output fluctuations.
• Install the detector in accordance with the flow direction mark on the
detector with the direction of the liquid flow. Misalignment could
result in a negative output.
