15. Removal and installation of the projector covers
15.6 Removal of the side cover plate of t he Light Processor compartment
To access the side cover pl ate of the L ight Processor compartme nt, the projector left side cover has to be
removed first. This p rocedure assumes that the projector left side cover is already removed .
CAUTION: O pening the Light Processor compartment by rem oving the top cover plate or side cover plate wi
ll
result in a tamper event. An authorization to clear the security w arning on the projector, after clo sing off the
Light Processor co mp artment, will be needed !
Necessary tools
3mm Allen wr ench.
How to remove the side cover plate f rom the Light Processor compartment?
1. Remove the sc rew at the top of the cover plate (reference 1 image 15-8) and the two sc rews at the bottom of the cover plate
(reference 2 image 15-8). Use a 3mm Allen w rench.
2. Remove the side cover plate left (A) then up (B) then away (C).
