2.3 Initial inspection
General
Before shipment, the projector was inspected and found to be free of mechanical and electrical defects. A s soon as the projector is
unpacked, inspect for any damage that m a y have occurred in transit. Save all packing material until the inspection is com pleted. If
damage is found, file claim w ith ca rrier imm ediately. T he B arco Sales and S ervice o ffice s hould be notified as soon as possible.

The projector le ns is not included in the p ackage of the projector.
Mechanical check
This check should confir m that there are no broken k nobs or connectors, that the cabinet and panel surfaces are free of dents and
scratches, and that the operating panel is not scratched or cracked. T he B arco Sales and Service office should be notified as soon
as possible if this is not the case.
Tamper labels
During installation please insp ect the tamper labels, if they are damaged please contact Barco tech support.
The tamper labels are required by DCI to provide easy visual indication if the equipment was tampered with. The projectors are
tested and labeled for shipping to ensure that the system was not compromised before reaching the customers final d estination.
These tamper labels can be found behind the input cover (partial visible), top cover and left s ide cover (orientation: looking at the
screen). See chapter page 131, for instructions on how to remov e the pr ojector covers.
