According to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS), S odium Carbonate c ould cause the following hazards:
• Potential Acute Health Effects: Hazardous in case of skin contact (irritant), of eye contact (irritant), of ingestion, of inhalation
(lung irritant ).
• Potential Chronic Health Effects: Slightly haz ardous in case of skin contact (sensitizer). T he substance may be toxic to upper
respiratory tract, sk in, eyes. Repeated or prolonged expo sure to the substance can produce target organ dam age.
