8.5 Device configuration mode
Mode Device Configuration is for making device-specific settings.
Sensor Info Show the sensor characteristics. Please pass on this information
in a service case.

Sensor Type: Provides sensor type.
n
Serial Number: Provides the sensor's serial number.
n
Vendor Name: Provides the sensor manufacturer.
NOTE: For MAC address and production date please see sen-
sor label.

Pointer: : Enable / disable projection of optical inspection re-
sults (red/green) on the control surface. This will point on the
code position without a camera image.
n
Display: Enable / disable the sensor display.
n
Luminous ring: Enable / disable the sensor's luminous ring.
Network Settings for sensor Ethernet connection.
n
IP Address: Setting the IP address within the IPv4 address
range.
IPv4 address range
10.0.0.0 – 10.255.255.255
172.16.0.0 – 172.31.255.255
192.168.0.0 – 192.168.255.255

Subnet Mask: Input subnet mask
n
Standard Gateway: Input default gateway
n
MAC Address: Display of the MAC address of the sensor
n
DHCP: Enable / disable DHCP
INFO: The IP address in USB connection is 169.254.2.1 and
cannot be edited.
Time Synchronization The time stamps of the measured values are set according to the
synchronization. The time is based on UTC.
n
NTP: Enable / disable NTP synchronization.
NTP enabled will synchronize the internal sensor clock with
the defined time server of the network.
n
Time Server: Enter network time server.
NOTE: Daylight saving time is not supported!
