Suitable for all fabrics and work which should look «hand sewn».
Thread
Upper thread = Monofilament
Lower thread = 30/2 cotton thread
Test-sewing
the lower thread is pulled up by strong upper thread tension
one stitch is visible (bobbin thread)
one stitch invisible (monofilament) = hand-look effect
Upper thread tension
Depending on the fabric increase the tension (6-9).
Balance
Adjust stitch with the balance if necessary.
Perfect corners
press «Needle stop»-button, needle down, press «Pattern end/
pattern repeat»-button, turn fabric
when pivoting make sure that the fabric does not become distorted
Monofilament breaks
sew more slowly
reduce upper thread tension slightly
