1 SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This ADDENDUM E to INSTRUCTION HANDBOOK MAN 618
prescribes the Safety Instructions applicable to all the electric actuators
ICON2000-010, ICON-020, ICON-030, ICON-040, ICON-050 certified
according to the IEC/EN 60079-0, 60079-1, 60079-7, 60079-11 and 60079-
31 standards, for protection mode Ex d e and gas group IIC suitable to be
installed in an ambient temperature range from -25°C (-13°F) to +60°C
(+140°F).
It is assumed that the installation, the setting, the
commissioning, the maintenance and repair works are
carried out by qualified personnel and checked by
responsible Specialists.
ICON2000 is designed in accordance with the applicable International Rules
and Specifications but in any case the following Regulation must be observed:
the general installation and safety regulations
the proper use of personal protective devices (glasses, clothing, gloves,)
the proper use of tools, lifting and transport equipment.
