1 SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1.1 General
This ADDENDUM G is an integration to INSTRUCTION
HANDBOOK MAN 618 to prescribes the Safety Instructions applicable
to all the electric actuators Series ICON2000/ICON2000AD either as a
base unit either when they are equipped with an optional extension [A]
with additional entries or with an optional extension [B] with optional
electronic card both mounted on the terminal board compartment, as
identified by the pictures here below, when they are installed in
Hazardous Areas as defined by the IEC/EN 60079-10-1 IEC/EN 60079-
10-2.
Under the same conditions, the optional extensions [A] and [B] can be
mounted on a base unit ICON2000/ICON2000AD already installed on
field.
Warning
It is assumed that the installation, the setting, the
commissioning, the maintenance and repair works are
carried out by qualified personnel and checked by
responsible Specialists.
Both the base unit ICON2000/ICON2000AD and optional extension are
designed in accordance with the applicable International Rules and
Specifications but in any case the following Regulation must be observed:
the general installation and safety regulations
the proper use of personal protective devices (glasses, clothing, gloves,)
the proper use of tools, lifting and transport equipment.
