5.3.1 Alarm Tone
The different level alarms are indicated by the system in following different audio
ways:
Alarm level
Audible prompt
High
“DO-DO-DO------DO-DO, DO-DO-DO------DO-DO”
Medium
“DO-DO-DO”
Low
“DO-”
5.3.2 Alarm Lamp
When a physiological alarm occurs, the alarm levels are indicated in the following
different visual ways:
Alarm level
Visual prompt
High
Alarm lamp flashes in red with 2 Hz.
Medium
Alarm lamp flashes in yellow with 0.5 Hz.
Low
Alarm lamp lights on in yellow without flashing.
When a technical alarm occurs, the alarm levels are indicated in following different
visual ways:
Alarm level
Visual prompt
Medium
Alarm lamp flashes in blue with 0.5 Hz.
Low
Alarm lamp lights on in blue without flashing.
Caution
When multiple alarms of different levels occur at the same time, the
monitor will select the alarm of the highest level and give visual and
audible alarm indications.
