Chapter 9-1
Chapter 9 Temp
9.1 Introduction
9.1.1 Measuring principle
The emission infrared wave length is 8um~14um while the human body
temperature is in 35~44. The science proves that human's eardrum approaches
the brain hypothalamus, and the hypothalamus is the human body temperature control
center, thus the ear temperature can reflect the body core temperature more accurately
than other parts of human. Obviously the human ear cavity temperature and the body
temperature have the relatively stable corresponding relations. According to this
principle, we can monitor the human ear cavity’s infrared launch through the infrared
temperature measurement probe. After signal transforming and microprocessor
processing, the relatively accurate human body temperature will be outputted.
This temperature module has the ambient temperature automatic compensation
function. It can detect the ambient temperature change and revise its reading to reduce
the influence of difference temperature to the monitoring and avoid the shortcoming
that it is unable to monitor correctly when used in the big different temperature
environment. This temperature module uses the ear cavity mode to monitor human
temperature rapidly and obtain the temperature information.
9.1.2 Introduction of Temp probe
The structure of the Temp probe is as follows:
Probe lens
LCD
Nameplate label
Connecting wire
Probe
Measuring button
earcap
