Direct Connection
The direct connection function allows establishing a connection from the remote PC to the
AMAX panel via USB cable.
1. Plug the cable into the USB port of the AMAX panel and connect the other side of this
cable to a USB port of the PC running the A-Link Plus software.
2. Install the USB driver. The device driver is located in the A-Link plus software path
(example: C\\program files (x86)\Bosch Security System\A-Link Plus\USB_DRIVER).
The installation creates an additional COM device on the PC.
3. When the installation has finished, identify the COM port associated to this device.
4. Select File – Communication Settings.
