3.4.3 Turning Off System
How to Turn Off
The On/Off button does not disconnect the workstation from mains voltage. Unplug
power plug or use power switch to ensure complete voltage disconnection.
Switch off power before connecting or disconnecting cables.
How to Reset
Waiting Periods
When disconnecting the system from line voltage, wait at least 10 seconds before re-
connecting it.
Do not turn off system during boot-up. Otherwise, configuration files and other data
on hard disk may be damaged.
Emergency
In case of emergency only, unplug detachable power cable or use power switch to si-
multaneously disconnect all supply poles. If your system is equipped with an UPS,
switch the UPS off.
Loss of Data
Failure to follow system shutdown procedure prior to disconnecting power may result
in irreversible loss of data.
Steps
1. Ensure that software has been closed.
2. Shut down system.
3. Press On/Off button

4. Press power switch

5. Unplug and secure all cables.
Options
To reset the computer (if system has frozen or has not shut down):
• Press On/Off button
