The Default Temperature is the temperature value that the control device will return to at the
conclusionoftheTest.Thisvalueissetonlyifthecheckboxischecked.Whenthecheckboxis
uncheckedthetemperaturecontrollerwillholdatthelastsetpointusedintheTest.
TIP:Whenatestinvolvesseveraltemperaturesetpoints,settheDefaultTemperaturetotherst
setpointusedintheTest.ThiswillreducethetransitiontimefromoneTestruntothenext
Testrun.

Eachvanespindlehastwo(2)immersionmarks.Theprimaryimmersionmarkislocatedonthe
spindleshaft.Normally,thespindleshouldbeinsertedsothatthesamplereachesthismark.If
thesamplecontaineristoosmalltoallowthespindletobeinsertedtothismark,thesecondary
immersionmarkmaybeused.Thismarkappearshalfwaydownthebladesofthevanespindles.
