Scanning a document into the PC
If you want to scan a whole page, use the ADF
(automatic document feeder).
—OR—
If you want to scan a portion of the page after pre-scanning the
document, use the scanner glass (Flatbed).
Scanning a document using the ADF

Place the document face up in the ADF (automatic document
feeder).

Select the Document Feeder from the Paper source drop-down
list box (A).

Select the picture type (B).

Select the Page size from the drop-down list box (D).
