1.6 Battery safety instructions
1.7 Safety notes regarding the LCD
The liquid crystal in the LCD is poisonous. During normal operation, it does not pose any
health hazard. However, should the touchscreen display break and liquid crystal leaks,
be careful.
WARNING
Health hazard because of an exploding battery
Non-observance of the following safety instructions can result in serious injury and /
or property damage.
➣ Do not expose the battery to fire, sparks or glowing embers. Do not dispose the
battery in fire. Otherwise, it will explode. Risk of explosion and fire!
NOTICE
➣ Avoid excessive physical shock or vibration.
➣ Do not short-circuit the battery terminals.
➣ Do not disassemble or deform the battery.
➣ Do not use a battery which has visible signs of damage.
➣ Do not immerse the battery in water or other liquids. Do not allow the battery to
get wet.
CAUTION
Health hazard because of improper handling of leaking liquid crystal
Non-observance of the following safety instructions can result in minor injury.
➣ Avoid any skin contact. If you your skin or clothes have come in contact with liquid
crystal, wash it off immediately using soap and water.
➣ Do not put liquid crystal in your moth.
