9.5.3 Dismantling the drive motor
1. Remove the parking brake - see the section "Removing the parking
brake from the truck".
2. On the stator (b) and the N- (e) and D-shield (drive end) (a), mark
how these are located in relation to each other.
3. Remove the pulse transducer (d) and loosen the cable clamp (g).
4. Unscrew the four screws (h) that hold the power terminal block (j) in
the N-shield.
5. Remove the two locking rings (e) from the motor shaft.
6. Remove the long screws (c).
7. Lift the N-shield and the rotor (k) from the stator.
