Risks of personal injury from cutting during installation work on sharp cutting
blades!
These risks may result in severe cutting injuries on hands and fingers.
Always wear cut-resistant protective gloves when working with/on the cutting blades.
To swivel/replace the cutting blades, you will need the following:
A box or open-end wrench (wrench size 24).
Cut-resistant protective gloves.
Edge guard to cover the cutting blades during assembly work on the cutting blades.
1. Enter the empty mixing hopper to replace the cut-
ting blades via a discharge opening. Also observe
the chapter "Entering the mixing hopper", starting
on page 79.
2. Wear protective gloves.
3. Cover the cutting edge of the cutting blade to be
mounted with an edge guard (1).
4. Unscrew or remove the 3 screws (2).
5. Replace the cutting blades and/or swivel the cutting
blades to the desired position (aggressive or de-
gressive); refer to page 42.
6. Tighten all 3 screws (2) of the bolt joints on the cut-
ting blades.
If you installed a new cutting blade, use the screws
included with the blade kit.
7. Remove all foreign objects (tools, etc.) from the
mixing hopper.
8. After the work is completed, exit the mixing hopper
via the discharge opening.
