5.3 Machine setup
 The V-MIX Fix Plus is essentially supplied ready-for-operation. Simply place the ma-
chine on the designated pre-constructed substructure and secure it.
 The ground bearing capacity at the installation location must be sufficient to accom-
modate the machine weight (for weight specifications, refer to chapter "Technical da-
ta", starting on page 32).
 The ground must be vibration-free and the underground must be stable for setup of
the machine.
 Also observe the chapter "General safety instructions", page 16 for this machine.
 Check the machine for obvious defects prior assembly. Also observe the chapter
"Responsibilities of the operator", page 11.
 When assembling the machine, also observe the operating manuals of third-party
manufacturers.
DANGER
Risks of personal injury from crushing, cutting, entrapment and impact may arise:
 If personnel are positioned between the machine and stationary objects during setup
of the machine.
 If the machine is not set up in a stable manner.
 If the screw connections are not tightened sufficiently.
 Ensure that no one remains in possible danger areas.
 Do not disconnect the machine from the lifting equipment until the machine is set up
in a stable manner.
 Ensure that the screw connections are tightened to the required torque.
