8 Faults
WARNING
Risks of personal injury from crushing, shearing, cutting, amputation, entrapment,
winding up, entanglement, catching and impact may arise if the machine starts up
inadvertently.
 Secure the machine against inadvertent start-up before troubleshooting it.
 Wait until the machine has come to a complete stop before entering the danger area.

Coupling breakage
Replace the coupling.

Gear unit failure
Check and, if necessary, replace
the gear unit.

Replace the shaft.

Power failure
Consult a trained electrician who is
able to find the cause of the power
failure and to correct it.
Power cable damaged
Consult a trained electrician who
will replace the power cable.
Weighing unit showing incorrect
values
The weighing computer is incorrect-
ly adjusted
Check the settings of the weighing
computer; for this purpose, refer to
the operating manual for the weigh-
ing unit.
Loose screw connections
Check screw connections of com-
ponents for tight fit.
The plug connector is dirty
Clean and dry the plug (do not use
contact spray).
Electrical control system
Error in the electrical control system
Observe the operating manuals
provided by the suppliers.
