EXAMPLE 10: REDUNDANT CORE WITH LOCAL I/O + 10 AOIP BOXES ON 4 REDUNDANT PTP SWITCHES
I/O Note:
In the event of a Redundant (Secondary)
Core takeover, any I/O connected to the
Primary Core local I/O will not be available
on the Redundant (Secondary) Core. For
I/O signals where redundancy is required
we recommend the use of networked
Type R I/O Boxes.
Connection Notes:
The direct link between the Primary and
Secondary Type R Cores is via the Core
“Surface” connections which keeps the
Secondary Core in step with the Primary
Core. The link may be wired with a single
cable or two for cable redundancy.
