PRINT (USER) Output of cartridge log print (for users)
Detail To print out cartridge log prints in the user layout.
- Lists the cartridge’s serial number, type (simplified), life remaining (in 10% increments) and time
at the initial use, life remaining (in 10% increments) and time at the last use, etc. Part’s life is not
listed.
- Prints out max. 2 sheets (100 logs) per cartridge.
- The billing counter does not count these printouts.
- A4/LTR set as default paper; 2-sided printing enforced.

When providing the user with printed cartridge replacement/use history

Select the item, and then press OK key.
PRINT (SERVICE) Output of cartridge log print (for service technicians)
Detail To print out cartridge log prints in the service technician layout.
- Lists the cartridge’s serial number, type (detailed), life remaining (in 10% increments) and time
at the initial use, part’s life, life remaining (in 10% increments) and time at the last use, part’s life,
etc.
- Prints out max. 4 sheets (200 logs) per cartridge.
- The billing counter does not count these printouts.
- A4/LTR set as default paper; 2-sided printing enforced.

Select the item, and then press OK key.
Caution
Do not provide users with service technician layout printouts. Keep these printouts to the service
technicians’ use only.

RESET
Clearing of printing data of non-Canon-made cartridge
Detail To initialize the numbers of detections and of printouts for non-genuine cartridges listed in cartridge
log print.
Use Case
When resetting the numbers of detections and printouts in case of e.g. cartridge type detection
errors
Adj/Set/Operate Method
Select the item, and then press OK key.
Caution
Executing this command does not delete/erase the cartridge log record. This command only erases
the counter data at the bottom right.
