Selects whether to use a dedicated port for a command sent from a Canon application to the printer.
Selecting ON allows you to use the dedicated port.
◦ Wireless LAN DRX setting
Selecting Enable allows you to activate discontinuous reception when using wireless LAN.
◦ Wired LAN DRX setting
Selecting Enable allows you to activate discontinuous reception when the printer is connected to a
device compatible with wired LAN.
◦ Wireless Direct settings
Setting items are available when you connect a device to the printer.
Important
• You can select these setting items only when Activate direct connect. is selected for Change
LAN.
■ Update SSID/password
Selecting Yes updates the identifier (SSID) and password for wireless direct.
■ Wireless Direct device name
Changes the printer's name displayed on a Wi-Fi Direct compatible device.
■ Connection request confirmation
Selecting Yes displays the confirmation screen when a Wi-Fi Direct compatible device is
connecting the printer.
Connecting Smartphone/Tablet to Printer Directly via Wireless LAN (Direct Connection)
◦ Reset SSL certificates
Initializes SSL certificate information.
• Reset LAN settings
Initializes the network settings on the printer.
After resetting, perform setup again as necessary.
