Configuring CCN PIC files to communicate with Chiller Manager

Before proceeding, you must have already:
Created your i-Vu® database
Discovered and downloaded the CCN PIC's to the Carrier® ChillerVu™ controller
Created and added the Chiller Manager control programs to the i-Vu® database
To enable the CCN PIC equipment files to communicate with the Chiller Manager program, you must edit the
Reference Name
for the chillers.
Right-click on the Carrier® ChillerVu™ in the navigation tree and select
Configure
.
1 Change the
Reference Name
to #chiller_x, where x is the chiller number.
EXAMPLE
For a 3-chiller system, the chiller reference names are:
#chiller_1
#chiller_2
#chiller_3
2 Click
OK
.
3 Repeat steps 1 and 2 to rename every chiller.
4 To verify your chiller connections in the i-Vu® interface, select the Chiller Manager program in the navigation
tree and go to the
Properties
>
Network Points
tab. If you see any errors on the pre-configured network
points, review your
Reference Name
edits.
