switchto"O"(OFFposition)ordisconnectthenegative(-)terminalofthebattery,inordertocutofftheelectriccircuit.
4.Alwaysstorebatteriesinasafeplace,outofthereachofchildren.
5.Sparkscanyfromtheelectricalsystemortheengineexhaust.
Beforerunningthemachineinanareawheretheremaybeinammablegasses,makesurethereisadequate
ventilation.
6.Ifpossible,makesurethereisareextinguisher(notsupplied)withineasyreachonboardthemachine.
Makesurethereextinguisherisregularlyservicedinconformitywiththemanufacturer'sinstructions.
7.Cleanthemachineregularly,removingalldebrisandinammablematerial.
8.Makesuretherearenoleaksandreplaceanydamagedhoses,linesorconnectors.
Afteranyrepairwork,cleanthemachinebeforeoperating.
Preventionofburns
1.Theelectrolyteinthebatteriescancauseseriousburns.
Thebatterycontainssulphuricacid.
Avoidcontactwithskin,eyesandclothing.
Antidote:
EXTERNAL:rinsethoroughlywithwaterandremovesoiledclothes.
INTERNAL:donotinducevomiting.
Rinsethemouthoutwithwater.
Seekmedicaladvice.
EYES:rinsethoroughlywithwaterfor15minandseekmedicaladvice.
2.Whenbatteryelectrolytefreezesitcanexplodeifyoutrytochargethebatteryorstartuptheenginewithabooster
battery.
Topreventtheelectrolytefromfreezing,alwayskeepthebatteryfullycharged.
