DETAILED STEPS
Step 1
Locate the fan assembly in the chassis. The fan tray is located to the left of the chassis on the rear side. See the following
figure.

Step 2
Loosen the two fan tray captive installation screws by turning them counterclockwise, using a flat-blade or number 2
Phillips-head screwdriver.
Step 3
Grasp the fan assembly with both hands, and pull it outward; rock it gently, if necessary, to unseat the fan assembly
power connector from the backplane.
Step 4
Pull the fan assembly clear of the chassis, and set it aside.
