Intel® Rapid Storage Technology for Optane Systems
Intel® Rapid Storage Technology application displays status information on your
Intel® Optane™ configuration. Run the Intel® Rapid Storage Technology appli-
cation from the item in the Start menu.
When the Intel® Rapid Storage Technology application is launched the system
will open the Status window. Here you can view the general health of the storage
system. Various volume creation and management options are available depending
on the system’s status.
Optane SSD Module
Removal
If you need to remove an
installed Optane SSD
module for any reason,
you must disable (see
“Disabling Intel® Op-
tane™” on page 6 - 43)
Intel Optane before
doing so.
Failure to disable Op-
tane before removing an
Optane SSD module will
result in the system be-
ing unable to start up.
