What to do if Crestron Pyng cannot establish a connection from an iPad or web XPanel, but the device communicates in Crestron Toolbox?
    • A
      Anthony MeadowsAug 13, 2025
If you can't connect to Crestron Pyng from an iPad or web XPanel, but the device communicates in Crestron Toolbox, it might be because SSL was enabled after a firmware update or system restore. To fix this, use Crestron Toolbox to check if SSL is enabled. If it is, disable it. You can do this by issuing the SSL command in the Text Console (followed by the restore command) or by unchecking the SSL box under Functions > SSL Management in the System Info dialog box.

Why does Crestron Pyng show 'Gateway Could Not Be Added' when adding a CSA-PWS10S-HUB-ENET gateway?
    • J
      Jeffrey MoralesAug 17, 2025
If Crestron Pyng displays a 'Gateway Could Not Be Added' message when you're adding a CSA-PWS10S-HUB-ENET gateway, the mode switch on the device might be set incorrectly. Make sure the mode switch on the CSW-PSW10S-HUB-ENET matches the physical connection method (CRES or ETH).

How to resolve missing elements or unresponsive buttons on the Crestron web XPanel interface?
    • J
      Jose LopezAug 20, 2025
If the web XPanel interface loads but buttons don't respond or page elements are missing, the domain web setting for XPanel may be incorrect. To solve this, go to Installer Settings, select Web Settings, and ensure that Domain is set to '*'.

Why do disabled Autonomic audio sources still appear in Crestron Pyng?
    • D
      Derek BradleyAug 28, 2025
If disabled sources from an Autonomic audio unit still appear in Crestron Pyng, it's because disabling a source in the MMS web interface doesn't automatically disable it in Crestron Pyng. To fix this, remove the MMS and then add it back to the system using the Pair Devices screen to reflect the update.

What to do if Crestron Pyng shows Cresnet thermostats but doesn't discover them in the system?
    • C
      Charles KirbySep 1, 2025
If Crestron Pyng shows Cresnet thermostats in the Network Device Tree but doesn't discover them, it could be because the CHV-THSTAT3F firmware is for 3-Speed-Fan applications only, which Crestron Pyng doesn't currently support. Use the CHV-TSTAT/THSTAT firmware instead.
