Display of a local hazard warning
Depending on the type of hazard, speed and
the vehicle’s deceleration, a warning will be
given of a signicant hazard as follows:
Audio warning.
Information or warning message (symbol in
yellow or red depending on the proximity of
the hazard).
Traic hazard alert setting options
Activating and deactivating the traic hazard
alert:
Select: Assistants > Traic hazard alert >
Activate.
You can adjust the settings to receive warnings
only for critical hazards. To do this, you must
deactivate warnings with an advance warning
level.
Select: Assistants > Traic hazard alert >
Advance warning level.
Hide the displayed hazard warning
Press the button on the multifunction steer-
ing wheel.
WARNING
Ignoring hazard warnings can result in acci-
dents and serious injury.
Never ignore hazard warnings.
Troubleshooting
Car2X switches o automatically
Car2X is not allowed in the country you are
driving in.
The vehicle has been oline for a long time
and therefore the certicates have not been
updated. Congure the privacy settings so that
an Internet connection is established and cer-
ticates can be updated.
There is a fault in the system. Contact a spe-
cialised workshop.
No Car2X data is displayed
Car2X has limited operation.
There are no participants sending data in the
surrounding area.
There are participants sending data in the
surrounding area, but they are not relevant to
your vehicle.
The Car2X antennas are blocked by accesso-
ries or parts that cover them. Keep the area
surrounding the Car2X antennas free of obsta-
cles.
Data exchange between participants is re-
duced or impossible due to weather condi-
tions.
The driver has already reacted to the hazard-
ous situation ahead.

To use CUPRA CONNECT Gen4, you have to
activate the services by concluding a CON-
NECT contract with SEAT, S.A., which may be
subject to usage time limitation depending on
the country.
Both the CUPRA CONNECT Gen4 service
portfolios oered by CUPRA and individual
services may be modied, cancelled, deactiva-
ted, reactivated, renamed and extended, even
without prior notication.
The implementation and availability of all CU-
PRA CONNECT Gen4 services and service
portfolios may vary by country, as well as by
vehicle and its equipment.
