6.2 INDICATIONS
Indications are non-critical and often status conditions. They do not appear on the LCD display of the
module as a text message in the Status, Event Log or Alarms pages. However, an output or LCD
indicator is configured to draw the operator’s attention to the event.
Example
Input configured for

The LCD text does not
appear on the module
display but can be added
in the configuration to
remind the system

used for.
As the input is configured
to Indication there is no
alarm generated.
LCD Indicator 1
‘illuminates’ when Digital
Input A is active.
The LCD Description
