Basic Operation
w When you would like to play back with the “Dolby Digital
EX” mode, set AFDM to “OFF” and select “MTRX ON”
with “SB CH OUT”.
Example: When playing software that has a Dolby Digital EX
flag
q When AFDM is set to “ON”, the surround mode is
automatically set to the “DOLBY DIGITAL + PL
IIx
CINEMA” mode. The surround parameter screen shown
at the below is displayed.

Press the STANDARD button to select the
“STANDARD (Dolby/DTS Surround)” mode.

Play a program source with the ,

Press the SURROUND PARAMETER button.
Display the “Surround Parameter” menu.

Press the CURSOR

button to select the
setting.

Press the ENTER or SURROUND PARAMETER
button to complete the setting.

button to select the
parameter.
When “Default” is selected and the CURSOR
FF
button is
pressed, “CINEMA EQ.” and “D.COMP.” are automatically
turned off, “LFE” is reset, and “TONE” is set to the default
value.
