M1.5-4 Restraint hill hold torque threshold ”HHTrqTH”
This setting is only active when “M1.5-1 Hill hold enable ”Off/HH/S”” is set to 1 or 2.
It defines the torque threshold to detect the “level ground” condition.
M1.5-5 Hill hold/positioning proportional gain ”KpPos”
M1.5-6 Hill hold/positioning derivative gain ”KdPos”
M1.5-7 Hill hold/positioning dead band ”PosDBand”
This three settings are used in Traction Software in the situation when is required to hold the vehicle still (zero
speed). This settings are active only for AC MOTOR technology.
This situation occurs during neutral brake end delay or during hill hold and/or during neutral end delay, so they
are active if those functions are active.
”KpPos”
It defines how stiff is the positioning and holding still the vehicle.
Increasing it will produce less rollback on a ramp, but if it is set too high vibrations and instability can occurs.
Suggested value: from 1.0 to 4.0
”KdPos”
It defines how quick oscillation in positioning and holding are damped.
This parameter must be set greater than zero to avoid vehicle oscillating when is hill holding.
If is set high, Kd will improve the dynamic response, but If it is set to high it will cause vibrations and instability
Kd will cause fast instability.
Suggested value: from 2.0 to 6.0
”PosDBand”
It defines a position feedback deadband around the setpoint, to help avoid instability caused by gear backlash.
Suggested value: 0. Increase only if necessary.
