M5.1-1 Absolute maximum motor speed “AbsMaxSp”
For safety reason a motor overspeed fault detection is active in software (both traction and pump). If speed is
greater than this adjustment (Absolute maximum motor speed “AbsMaxSp”) a failure occurs (F30, see section
8.1 Error Codes”). For a proper tuning this parameter has to be set to 30% above the maximum speed set in
the autotuning menu.
M5.1-2 Maximum speed forward “SpdMaxF”
This limits the maximum forward speed of motor.
Maximum Forward Speed should not be set to a value higher than the parameter Maximum motor frequency
(adjustable in “Menu 3 “Autotuning””). If “SpdMaxF” is set higher, the maximum forward speed of the vehicle
will be the Maximum motor frequency (adjustable in “Menu 3 “Autotuning””).
M5.1-3 Maximum speed reverse “SpdMaxR”
This limits the maximum reverse speed of the motor.
Maximum Reverse Speed should not be set to a value higher than the Maximum motor frequency (adjustable
in “Menu 3 “Autotuning””). If “SpdMaxR” is set higher, the maximum reverse speed of the vehicle will be the
Maximum motor frequency (adjustable in “Menu 3 “Autotuning””).
M5.1-4 Cutback speed 1 “Speed1”
The function of this parameter is dependent on the setting of M2-3 Digital input 5 and 6 configuration
”Sp/In/Ad”” in the Controller Set-up menu, which sets whether pins 5 and 6 are used as speed limiting inputs
or inching control inputs or advanced mode.
If set to 0 (Speed Limits), then “Speed 1” sets the maximum speed of the vehicle when the switch connected
to input 5 on 35way connector is open. The speed limit is not applied when the switch is closed or a lower
speed limit is in operation.
If set to 1 (Inching), this set is not used.
If set to 2 (Advanced Mode), then “Speed 1” sets the maximum speed of the vehicle when the switches
connected to inputs 5 and 6 are configured to select Drive Style 1 (refer to Control set up M2-3 Digital input 5
and 6 configuration ”Sp/In/Ad”” for configuration details).
If set to 3 (Speed Limit and footbrake switch), then “Speed 1” sets the maximum speed of the vehicle when the
switch connected to input 5 on 35way connector is open
