Adjustments and DMC Calibrator’s map
The DMC Calibrator is easy to use. The “up” and “down” buttons are used for scrolling lists up and down. Selections can
be made with the “SEL” button. The “plus” and “minus” buttons are used to increase or decrease the parameter’s values.
• Press and hold the select button for 2 seconds to return to the first screen.
• The calibrator remembers the cursor position in the submenus until key-off.
Where to plug the DMC Calibrator
In case of a DMC Simga2NController with non-isolated CAN bus, the DMC Calibrator can be plugged in the “Connector
B - Communications - 8 Way” on top of the DMC Simga2NController or can be inserted in the CAN network wired from
“Connector A - Vehicle Interface - 35 Way (AMP SEAL Series)”.
In case of a DMC Simga2NController with isolated CAN bus (part number ending with letter “C”), the DMC Calibrator
has to be inserted in the CAN network wired from “Connector A - Vehicle Interface - 35 Way (AMP SEAL Series)
and supplied with an external 12 (or 24V). Only Calibrator having Serial number later than D20340439 can be supplied
with more than 12V.
Please refer to “3.1.4 Wiring of the CAN bus” for wiring examples.

DMC has developed a new and modern PC application that can be used to configure DMc Controllers and monitor data
via the CAN bus.
This application takes the name of DMC Configurator and is available to download from the DMC website.
