Connector B - Communications - 8 Way (Molex Minifit)
Pin B1 Rx Flash
This pin is used to flash the Simga2NController when a software update is required.
Pin B2 Tx Flash
This pin is used to flash the Simga2NController when a software update is required.
Pin B3 +12V Flash
This pin is used as a supply during the software update procedure. When 12V is detected at startup, the
Simga2NController enters “flashing mode” and only software update is possible.
Pin B4 N/C
This pin is not used.
Pin B5 CAN L
CAN Low communications CAN line to the Calibrator, Display or other Controller(s)/CAN Devices.
In Simga2Ncontrollers with isolated CAN bus (part number ending with letter C), no CAN signal is available on
this pin.
Pin B6 CAN H
CAN High communications CAN line to the Calibrator, Display or other Controller(s)/CAN Devices.

Pin B7 +12V –
This Pin holds a +12V supply for powering external devices. The maximum output current is limited to
