SEAT BELT BUCKLE
REMOVAL
(1) Open deck lid.
(2) Remove four bolts to battery compartment
cover and remove cover.
(3) Disconnect and isolate the battery negative
cable.
(4) Move seat as needed to access seat retaining
bolts (Fig. 3).
(5) Disconnect electrical connector (Fig. 4).
(6) Remove seat belt buckle bolt.
(7) Separate seat belt buckle from seat and remove
wire from seat assembly.
INSTALLATION
(1) Route wire through seat assembly and attach
seat belt buckle and bolt to seat assembly. Torque
bolts to 40 N·m (30 ft. lbs.).
(2) Place seat assembly in vehicle.
(3) Connect electrical connector (Fig. 4).
(4) Move seat as needed to install seat retaining
bolts (Fig. 3). Torque bolts to 40 N·m (30 ft. lbs.).
(5) Connect the battery negative cable.
(6) Place battery access cover into place and install
four bolts.
(7) Close deck lid.
(8) Verify vehicle and system operation.
