REMOVAL - UPPER RESERVOIR
(1) Disconnect and isolate the battery negative
cable.
(2) Raise vehicle.
(3) Remove right front tire.
(4) Remove right wheelhouse splash shield (Refer
to 23 - BODY/EXTERIOR/LF WHEELHOUSE
SPLASH SHIELD - REMOVAL).
(5) Disconnect the breather hose.
(6) Disconnect lower reservoir supply hose (Fig.
14).
(7) Remove mounting fasteners and remove upper
washer fluid reservoir.
INSTALLATION
INSTALLATION - LOWER RESERVOIR
(1) Position the lower washer reservoir in the vehi-
cle and install the lower mounting bolt. Torque the
bolt to 4 N·m (35 in. lbs.).
(2) Install the upper mounting bolts. Torque the
bolts to 4 N·m (35 in. lbs.).
(3) Connect the lower reservoir supply hose.
(4) Connect the breather hose.
(5) Connect the windshield washer pump, head-
lamp washer pump, and horn electrical connectors.
(6) Install the right front brake vent tube.
(7) Install the front bumper reinforcement (Refer
to 13 - FRAME & BUMPERS/BUMPERS/FRONT
BUMPER REINFORCEMENT - INSTALLATION).
(8) Operate the headlamp and windshield washers,
and inspect for leaks. Repair as necessary.
INSTALLATION - UPPER RESERVOIR
(1) Position the upper washer fluid reservoir and
install the mounting fasteners. Torque the fasteners
to 4 N·m (35 in. lbs.).
(2) Connect the lower reservoir supply hose.
(3) Connect the breather hose.
(4) Install right wheelhouse splash shield (Refer to
23 - BODY/EXTERIOR/LF WHEELHOUSE SPLASH
SHIELD - INSTALLATION).
(5) Install right front tire.
(6) Lower vehicle.
(7) Connect battery negative cable.
(8) Operate the washers and check for leaks.
Repair as necessary.
