14 Sensor settings Polytron

14.1 Switching automatic calibration on or off
1. Select Settings > Sensor > Auto calibration and confirm.
2. Select Enable or Disable confirm with [OK].
14.2 Capture range
The capture range blanks out measurement fluctuations. Measurement fluctuations
are minor variations in measured values (such as signal noise, variations in
concentration). Those variations do not change the transmitted or displayed value.
Measured values within this range will be displayed with the capture value.
Measured values outside the capture range will be displayed with the actual
measured value.
Capture value (offset)
The capture value is displayed continuously, as long as the measured value ranges
between the upper and lower capture value limits.
Upper capture value limit
The upper capture value limit marks the upper limit of the range in which the
capture value is displayed.
Lower capture value limit
The lower capture value limit marks the lower limit of the range in which the capture
value is displayed.
14.2.1 Setting capture range
1. Select Settings > Sensor > Display Capture and confirm.
2. Set offset in the first window.
3. Set the lowest value of the capture range and confirm with Next.
4. Set the highest value of the capture range and confirm with Next.
5. Check all the values and confirm with Next.
14.2.2 Switching capture range off
1. Select Settings > Sensor > Display Capture and confirm.
2. Set offset in the first window.
3. Set the lowest value of the capture range to 0 and confirm with Next.
4. Set the highest value of the capture range to 0 and confirm with Next.
5. Check all the values and confirm with Next.
14.3 Resetting sensor
This function resets the sensor to factory default settings.
1. Select Settings > Sensor > Init. channel and confirm.
2. Select Confirm and confirm with [OK].
