11 Maintenance
11.1 Safety
Filter maintenance on the D‑ISC100 P must only be carried out
by specialist personnel (qualified electricians)!
DANGER
Danger of death due to electric current!
An immediate danger of death exists in case of contact with live
parts. Damage to the insulation or individual components can
present a danger of death.
▶ In the event of damage to the insulation, turn off the power
supply immediately and initiate repairs.
▶ Only have work on electric systems performed by specialised
electricians.
▶ Before opening the housing or removing the touch guard, dis-
connect the device, check that no voltage is present and se-
cure against reactivation.
▶ Keep moisture away from live parts. This may lead to a short-
circuit.
11.2 Maintenance work
Visible deposits (if present) are removed with a (damp) cloth or
oil-free compressed air. If necessary, use water or isopropanol
as well (not on hot surfaces).
We recommend checking the cable bushings for damaged seals
at regular intervals. Leak-tight cable bushings prevent the in-
gress of moisture, thereby preventing corrosion inside the hous-
ing. Unused openings in the cable bushings must be sealed.
Be aware of any corrosion, deformation and damage to the hous-
ing, and make sure that it is securely positioned on the mounting
wall. The housing cover and doors must be securely closed.
The operator defines the maintenance intervals for the
D‑ISC100 depending on the usage conditions.
