23.2 Adjusting the knife overlap
Caution: Danger of injury !
Adjust the trimmer for threads cut long only with the machine
switched off.
Standard checking
The blades 1 and 3 must move one on top of the other by 1 mm.
It must be possible to insert the clamping plate without jamming.
The roller 2 must reach in the groove of the linkage 5.

Remove the right clamping plate.

Reinsert the right clamping plate.
It must be possible to insert the clamping plate without jamming.
Correction
Adjusting the linkage
–
Loosen screw 4.
–
Shift the linkage 5 on the piston rod.
The dimension X should amount to 39 mm.
–
Tighten screw 4.
