3.6 Installation
CAUTION
When connecting or disconnecting the communication cables while the pump is in operation, place
the pump in an enclosure or a barrier that cannot be removed without specialized tools for operators
to be safe.
CAUTION
Ensure a communication cable has been locked securely when using the display unit iDT-002 that
does not fix any places.
CAUTION
Use the communication cables that we have specified when communicating with STP pumps.
Using different cables may result in product damage.
CAUTION
Connect the cables securely. NEVER bend or place heavy objects on the cable.
That may result in electric shock or product damage.
Note: The display unit iDT-002 equips the STP-Link connector. Refer to Section 6, "STP-LINK" for
its functions. The STP-Link is an optional accessory. Contact the distributor to purchase.
