7 STORAGE AND DISPOSAL
7.1 Storage of the STP pump
When planning not to use the display unit iDT-002 over a long period (more than a few months),
follow the precautions below:
1. Store the display unit iDT-002 in a horizontal position.
2. DO NOT store the STP pump in the following areas:
• High humidity areas (if it must be stored in a place of high humidity, insulate it from the outside
and use a dehumidifying agent.)
• Areas that can be temperature extremes. The temperatures must be more than 55 °C (131 °F),
and less than -25 °C (-13 °F).
• Areas that corrosive gases may exist.
• Areas subjected to water/dampness.
• Areas subjected to excessive dust.
• Areas with insufficient ventilation.
• Areas subjected to strong magnetic and electric fields or radiation.
• Areas that will be subjected to direct sunlight.
• Areas subjected to mist.
• Areas subjected to electric noise and vibration.
7.2 Disposal
CAUTION
The wipes used to clean the display unit iDT-002 might become hazardous waste depending upon
the solvent (alcohol). Therefore, dispose of the contaminated wipes appropriately according to the
regulations of each national and local government.
Dispose of the display unit iDT-002 as industrial waste in accordance with all local and national
safety and environmental standards.
