5.2 "FAILURE" LED illuminates or "w" is displayed in the upper left-hand corner of the
LCD
Refer to Section 7.6.1, "Indication of FAILURE LED" in the STP pump Instruction Manual for the
measures against error detection when the "FAILURE" LED of the display unit iDT-002 illuminates.
The "w" in the upper left-hand corner of the LCD indicated a WARNING of the STP pump. Refer to
Section 7.3, "Contents of WARNING function" in the STP pump Instruction Manual for the measures
against WARNINGs.
5.3 Cleaning
The methods of cleaning the display unit iDT-002 are shown below.
• Clean the outside of the display unit iDT-002 with a dry wipe as necessary.
• When the dust has accumulated, wipe off or vacuum it with a cleaner. During the cleaning, dust
must not be in the display unit iDT-002.
• Clean off with clean gas when the dust has accumulated in the connector.
• When the label of the display unit iDT-002 has been damaged, contact our service office.
5.4 Transport for repair or overhaul
WARNING
Follow the instruction of "Return Procedure" to prevent an accident during the
transportation, repair, or overhaul.
CAUTION
When returning the display unit to our service office, be sure to pack it well to prevent external
damage. If "Return Procedure" has not been satisfied, Edwards will not be responsible for any
troubles.
Always contact our service office before returning the display unit iDT-002 for repairs, overhaul, or
other purposes.
When returning the display unit iDT-002 to our service office, use the original packing to prevent
external damage. If not have the original packing, use similar or superior packaging material. The
documents called "Return Procedure" and the "Malfunction Information" are included on the
Instruction Manual CD. When additional documents are needed, contact our service office.
Note: When returning the display unit iDT-002 to our service office, fill in the necessary items in the
"Return Declaration" and fax it to our service office.
