Fault Yellow service LED is flashing a repeated sequence
Cause A service is required.
Fault The red alarm LED is on
Normal during the software upgrade process. At other times indicates a problem
has been detected in the FLASH memory.
Fault The red alarm LED is flashing
Cause A fail condition has become active.
Fault Blue bearing LED is flashing a repeated sequence
Cause A bearing service due to inactivity is required.
Fault Blue bearing LED is lit
Cause Bearing run in mode (BRIM) is running.
Fault Pump is not accelerating to full speed
Cause Bearing run in mode (BRIM) is running.
Cause Fault conditions other than the ones previously mentioned.
Remedy Left for RS485, right for RS232.
Right for parallel control and monitoring.
Remedy See Flashing service codes on page 114.
Remedy If during software upgrade then complete the upgrade process. Otherwise cycle
power and if this does not help then perform a software upgrade.
Remedy Note the position of the long flashes within the series of 6 flashes to work out the
error code.
Look up the flashing error code in Flashing error codes on page 114 and follow the
advice given.

Remedy Wait until BRIM is finished. This may take 4.3 hours. We recommend not to cancel
BRIM.
