Fiery Command WorkStation
Fiery Command WorkStation, the print job management interface for Fiery servers, makes printing more productive, powerful and intuitive.
It centralizes job management, connects to all Fiery servers on the network and improves results for increased productivity. The intuitive
interface makes complex jobs simple, regardless of the operators’ experience, and the full cross-platform Mac and Windows support
allows users to keep the exact same functionality, look and feel.
The intuitive interface offers a fully functional remote connection so that users get the same quality of results as when they use a local
connection to a Fiery server. The backward compatible Fiery Command WorkStation also allows print providers to update and provide
usability enhancements for current Fiery servers at no additional cost.

Job Center
An uncluttered workspace is one key to working productively. CWS5 helps accomplish this task through the Job Center area, a centralized
location to view and manage jobs sent to the Fiery server. It is the operator’s main user interface for all job management and setup
controls. Command WorkStation 5 workspace has drag-and-drop capabilities for fewer clicks, and a customizable toolbar provides instant
status of all Fiery servers. The workspace also has job grouping for efficiency and provides instant information on the engines,
consumables, media and job requirements. It also has an integrated job preview and job search capabilities across all Fiery servers.
Fiery Command WorkStation 5 offers a fully visual interface that makes the user experience more productive:
• Integrated job previews let users navigate through pages while obtaining other critical information in the Job Center view.
• Preview shows how content will be laid out on pages and helps the user navigate through the entire document with ease.
• Preview of processed jobs allows the user to drag and drop pages from other projects to easily add, delete, reorder and merge.
• Job summaries in the preview pane show paper type and weight in addition to the paper catalog name and size.
Device Center
The Device Center integrates server setup functions in a single workspace, including fonts, virtual printers and more:
• The Server configuration pane enables users to view, print or save the server configuration details as a PDF or text file.
• Color setup offers an intuitive process that makes it much easier to see how color processing works.
• Can filter job login formation by date, export to preview and manipulate the data in other applications such as Microsoft

Includes customizing the date range and columns to export.
• Variable data printing resources integrate and manage all elements by job, including Fiery FreeForm
master jobs.
Flexible Integration and Upgrade Path
• Full cross-platform Mac and Windows support maintains the exact same functionality, look and feel on both operating systems.
• Backward compatible Fiery System 8 Release 2 allows users to update Command WorkStation and provides operating usability
enhancements for the current Fiery server at no additional cost.
• Command WorkStation offers a fully functional remote connection (with the same functionality as a local connection) to a Fiery
