WARNING
Process pressure and temperature, contamination, electrical voltage
Risk of serious or fatal injury
If the sensor has to be removed during maintenance work, avoid hazards posed by
pressure, temperature and contamination.
Make sure the device is de-energized before you open it.
Power can be supplied to switching contacts from separate circuits. De-energize these
circuits before working on the terminals.
NOTICE
Electrostatic discharge (ESD)
Risk of damaging the electronic components
Take personal protective measures to avoid ESD, such as discharging beforehand at PE
or permanent grounding with a wrist strap.
For your own safety, use only genuine spare parts. With genuine parts, the function,
accuracy and reliability are also ensured after maintenance work.

CAUTION
Automatic mode during calibration or maintenance work
Risk of injury from chemicals or contaminated media
Before releasing the hoses, ensure that no action is running or about to start.
Set the device to the manual mode.
Wear protective clothing, goggles and gloves or take other suitable measures to protect
yourself.

13.1 Maintenance schedule
Interval Maintenance work
After every reagent
replacement, during
commissioning,
maintenance and
repair
Carrying out zero point calibration
Weekly Visually inspect the cuvette and capillaries for damage
Do not bend the capillaries.
Do not subject the capillaries to any tensile load.
Every month Check levels of reagents and standard
Replace reagents CY80SI, RB, RK and RN (typically: with a measuring interval of 10
min, depending on the temperature and measuring range)
Replace standard CY80SI (typically: with a calibration interval of 48 h)
Every 6 months Replace dispensers and hose connectors at dispensers
Visually inspect the cuvette for cracks and replace if damaged
